Oh Honey

Oh Honey,
You are my home in this world…

But this world is not my home,
I did not come here to be fed
Since there is nothing you can own.
I did not come here to be fated,
I did not come here to be led,
I did not come here to be doing chores
Or to face work that I most dread!
I didn’t come to do homework,
I didn’t come to move homeward
– Bound
To the world… yet
Not to the way it used to be;
To the wonder,
To then wander
Into a new reality.

Celebrating the homecoming
Of this we call our home,
Coming from All ways
That we used to call our own.
Becoming again one household
One story to be told;
We came to rewrite the legends of old!

Oh honey,
We are home
Sweet Home.
