Top tips for staying Committed
It is not n choice; it is not a decision you make one day and suddenly you are committed to whatever you set your mind to.
Commitment is an action, an action that you do every day or every week until that commitment becomes a habit. When commitment becomes habit, you have arrived.
With that said, here are my top tips for changing commitment into habit:
1- You need to know and accept that whatever you set your mind to is not always going to be easy, you need to make a deliberate choice every day to do what you need to do in order to achieve your goal.
2- Know your limits. It’s just as important to rest, reset and take time off to reassess. Burnout is never positive or helpful. Mental health should always be your top priority.
3- It is self-destructive to compare yourself to someone else. You are on your own path and journey, only you can walk in your own shoes; always stay focused on yourself and compare your present self to you past self.
4- Be patient. Unfortunately achieving greatness takes time; just choose to action your commitment and eventually you will see the difference.
Remember, you are the only one who determines being ordinary or extraordinary.
